Our Products

We source our products from artists and vendors based in Africa. Most of the products are handcrafted and therefore unique. The actual item you receive might differ slightly from the product picture on our website. Average dimensions and weight are stated in the product description and the variations are minimal.

All prices are in EUR.

Payment

We currently accept secure payments via Paypal (this includes credit card payments).

Delivery Costs - Republic of Ireland

We offer free shipment within the Republic of Ireland on orders of 80EUR and over. For all orders below 80EUR, the shipping cost will be calculated based on the estimated weight of the products and will be added at the checkout. You can still cancel your order at that point.

Delivery rates in the Republic of Ireland:

up to 0.5kg = 2EUR

0.5-1kg = 3EUR

1-2kg = 5EUR

2-4kg = 10EUR

>4kg = 15EUR

Delivery Costs - United Kingdom

We offer free shipment to the United Kingdom on orders of 100EUR and over. For all orders below 100EUR, the shipping cost will be calculated based on the estimated weight of the products and will be added at the checkout. You can still cancel your order at that point.

Delivery rates in the UK:

up to 0.5kg = 5EUR

0.5-1kg = 10EUR

1-2kg = 15EUR

2-4kg = 20EUR

>4kg = 25EUR

Delivery Destination

We currently ship to all destinations within the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. Please contact us for delivery costs to other EU countries.

Delivery Timelines

The overall estimated delivery time within the Republic of Ireland and the UK is 5 working days. We use An Post and couriers depending on the size and weight of the packet/parcel.

Order confirmation

You will receive an email from us once your order is placed and another one when we have dispatched it.

Availability

We regularly update the stock information in our online store, however, in an unlikely occurence that the item you have ordered is actually out of stock we will contact you on the next working day at the latest with available options, such as an alternative product. You can also request a full refund.

Collection

You can collect and pay for your order from our stall at the Blackrock Market in Cork. Please contact us to avail of this option. We trade most of the Sundays from 10AM till 2PM.

Returns

We hope you will be happy with your purchase but if for any reason you are not satisfied you can return it to us within 14 calendar days for a full refund. Please ensure that the product is securely packed (this is especially important for fragile items such as stone sculptures) and contact us to let us know about the item being returned. If the product is damaged when you receive it, we will send you a replacement or issue a full refund if you return the damaged item within 7 days (note that the replacement option is only available if we still have the product in stock). Please note that we are not responsible for the returned goods when in transit and will not be able to issue a replacement or a refund until we receive the returned item. You might want to use registered post to return the goods.

Personal Data

We will use your details to process the orders but otherwise will never share any of your personal data with anyone else. We might occasionally use your email address to let you know about our special offers or new stock; you can opt out from this communication at any time.

Our store is hosted by BigCommerce and uses their shared SSL certificate.

Payments are secured and processed by PayPal. No credit card details are passed to African Art.
