'So art is what I do'. Our wire & bead artist, Norbert Mukungwa Saunyama

Many of you have asked about the artist behind the wire & bead art that we sell - elephants, bowls and beautiful Christmas decorations that were a big hit at the markets last year. So here is a short bio supplied by Norbert himself:
My name is Norbert Mukungwa Saunyama. Born and raised in Zimbabwe. I am married and have two kids. We live in Cape Town.
I went to school in Zimbabwe and reached college level where I studied Salesmanship and accounting.I left Zimbabwe to South Africa looking for greener pastures but couldn't get a job.That's when I decided in 2004 to be an Artist. I really enjoy working with wires and beads as well as wood carving, stone sculpturing and metal work. So art is what I do. My small company is called The Big 5 Creation based in Cape Town, South Africa.
